📹 Social Hour: Video in Social Media

The wave of the future.... is already here. There are over a billion users on Youtube, 500 million hours watched each day, and 87% of marketers who say they already use video in their online strategies.


We have been doing research on implementing video strategy with our clients and here are a few results we LOVE:


⭕ Including video on a landing page can increase conversion by 80%. Video boosts conversions which ultimately boosts SALES.


⭕ Websites with video are 53% more likely to show up on a Google search. Why is this? Because Google attributes video to credibility and knows users would prefer to watch video over reading text.


⭕ In my own case studies, I've seen the highest CTR on videos meaning more people click on ads with videos than in any other ad strategy.


⭕ And don't forget video encourages social sharing. This is a major factor in customer awareness but also in the Google search algorithms. Sharing is proof users are loving your content, product, or service. This goes the same for Facebook as well.



If you are not already on the video game, its time. Even low production videos receive more traffic than "no videos". Yes I do realize the irony of not videoing this post! After all, Cisco predicts that by 2020, 82% of all consumer web traffic will be video! So turn on your iPhone, do a live, or make a collaboration- videos are here to stay.
